The monthly Global Short Story Competition is proving a success - and now we have the backing of internationally renowned author Bill Bryson OBE.
Bill, the Chancellor of Durham University, has agreed to support the competition, run by the team here at Certys Limited, because he shares our passion for writing and for the North-East of England, where we are based.
The competition runs every month with £100 for the winner and £25 for the runner-up and is open to writers from across the world.
The competition is also being supported by Darlington Arts Centre.
